Besides the fact that Aldis Dodge credited “DJ” or Dwayne Johnson for bringing The Witcher actor back to his Superman role, the two A-listers are known to support each other often. It is commonly known that Cavill was let go from DC by the studio’s new co-CEO James Gunn. Later, ‘The Rock’ cryptically credited Black Adam’s failure to Gunn. According to him, the new leadership created problems that eventually became the movie’s downfall.

In this way, the Central Intelligence actor defended the entire cast by shining light on where the real problem lay according to him.
