Fans Hilariously Troll ‘The Witcher’ Creators, As an April Fools’ Day Prank Predicts the Final Scene of Henry Cavill on the Netflix Original
Dearest Witcher fans! You may now need to put down everything that you are doing and hold your horses as we bring to you the greatest news of all time. No, Henry Cavill is not staying back, but we now know what his last scene in The Witcher season 3 could look like. Even though Cavill has stepped down as the white wolf, passing on the legacy to Liam Hemsworth, we are yet to witness the last of his balletic bouts of Swordplay.
Showrunner Lauren Hissrich had previously promised that the season 3 finale is going to be a sight to behold. She has promised a heroic sendoff to Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia and Redanian Intelligence has a fresh update on it. According to the outlet, in his ultimate scene, Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia will give up his witcher duties. That makes sense, right?
As per Redanian Intelligence’s report, one of the supporting actors will apparently call for him at the top of his voice. “Witcher!” To which the British actor will reply, “No, no more,” suggesting that his Geralt has now given up his duty as the white-haired monster-hunting mutant.

It certainly fits well for the continuation of Netflix’s Witcherverse without him and explains what Hissrich meant when she stated that “Geralt’s big turn is about giving up neutrality and doing anything that he has to do to get to Ciri.” Furthermore, this also explains how Liam Hemsworth will emerge as a new Geralt with a different mission in mind.
However, fans could not believe this and considered it another April fool’s prank
Fans cannot believe that Henry Cavill will retire as Geralt in season 3
Henry Cavill’s cult classic following who earlier threatened to abandon the show and even signed petitions to bring Cavill back, urging the showrunners to stay true to the source is not able to believe that this will mark the grand exit of the Enola Holmes actor. While some state it is just another April Fool’s prank, others say that they will not be surprised.
Another Cavill fan states that you can never know with Lauren Hissrich and her team.
Fans also state that pacing up the live-action adaptation is a “weird idea,” explaining what actually happens in the books

In the books, Geralt gives up being Witcher, watching his medallion melt in fire towards the end of Tower of Shallows. So, the show will have to certainly gear up a bit if the outlet’s prank turns out to be the actual finale.
