A Henry Cavill and Tolkien Crossover? Introducing to You the Elf of Your Dreams
Henry Cavill with white hair and mesmerizing golden eyes is something The Witcher fandom lives for! But have you ever imagined him with elf ears, trying to save Middle-Earth from the Dark Lord’s ever-lingering threat? We suspect you have already started imagining your dream elf! And, kid you not, but we might have obtained a peripheral idea about it already.
It has been a decade since JRR Tolkien brought his fantastical world to fruition. A world full of Hobbits, mystical creatures, elves, and four ages of the esoteric realm wherein the legendarium of Arda resides. And if you have ever made yourself home in Tolkien’s faerie land, you must have also lived and fought through the first age with the Elven warriors, witnessing the perish of the Dark Lord.
It’s time to bring that nostalgia back! Close your eyes for four seconds and imagine Henry Cavill as your elven leader, Feanor.

Surprise! AI enthusiasts going by the name The Abandoned Films took to the Facebook story to pour the elixir of their talent to transform Cavill’s White Wolf into Feanor, the fearless elven leader and the creator of the sacred elven jewels. Yes! We are indeed talking about ‘The Silmarillion,’ the account of the Elder Days, of the First Age of Tolkien’s world.
The caption read, “The Silmarillion (2024) directed by Peter Jackson”. The album of 35 pictures beautifully depicts Middle-earth in Tolkien’s First Age as described in the lore. While Cavill’s elf may represent some other character such as Sauron or Fingolfin, his armor deems him to be the second King of the Ñoldor.
And, we must say, fans are going gaga over it.

The former Superman, whose departure and the recent reminder of the same by the official Superman on Twitter disappointed fans, as Feanor has left fans longing for the extreme, pedantic, perfected expansion of the wonderful addendums that make general high fantasy with all its maps and sci-fi timelines and tech trees with astronomical maps so amazing. While some say they are “back in the middle earth the way it was intended,” others “want it so badly” already. However, most fans praise Cavill as a highly dedicated actor.
