The upcoming season of Stranger Things that focuses on Will Byers will see one major development in his characters. Makers reveal what it is.

‘Stranger Things’ Creators Confirm the Show Will Come Full Circle Through This Aspect of Will Byers

A true maestro of the mysterious, Will Byers is the one character from Stranger
Things [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/stranger-things/] that fans still
can’t figure out. From the first season itself, he turned the show into a giant
game of hide and seek. As if his commitment to vanishing wasn’t enough, this boy
with the least appealing haircut on the show is also a bit of a monster magnet.
This is also why the kid’s demeanor has gotten gloomier with each passing
season.

With an ever-growing pile of questions surrounding his character, Noah Schnapp
can now finally breathe a sigh of relief. Because in the upcoming season, Byers
will finally take center stage.

ROSS DUFFER HOPES WILL’S JOURNEY WILL DO THIS FOR THE SHOW

With so much mystique built around his role, Will Byers will now have a crucial
role to play in season 5. Confirming his theory, Ross Duffer tells Variety
magazine
[https://variety.com/2023/tv/features/noah-schnapp-coming-out-will-byers-gay-stranger-things-5-1235687739/]
that they hope that his emotional arc will “tie the whole series together.” Also
addressing the character’s sexuality, he reveals how Will’s journey will not be
about “just sexuality, it’s Will coming into his own as a young man.”

Transitioning from the introverted and protected one to one who owns his truth,
Will’s journey will be one to behold. And one that fans can’t wait to set eyes
on either. Meanwhile, after a month of delays owing to the SAG-AFTRA strikes,
some good news regarding the production of Stranger Things
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-amidst-hollywood-double-strike-stranger-things-sees-a-positive-update-after-millie-bobby-brown-sad-news/]
has brought fans some respite.

Now they can only wait and see what Will Byers does in season 5. But some
zealous fans have taken matters into their own hands and produced theories that
will blow your minds.

STRANGER THINGS FANS FORGE WILD WILL BYERS THEORIES

One of the most believed theories surrounding this character that took Twitter
by storm addresses his origins. Suggesting that Will was present at the Hawkins
lab at the same time as Eleven
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-will-byers-was-a-kid-in-the-national-hawkins-lab-stranger-things-season-5-theory/],
a Twitter user lists all the thirteen reasons why they believe this is possible.
Meanwhile, some less optimistic theories hint at Will turning evil.

Perhaps the most amusing of all is the one that showcases a post-apocalyptic
Will wielding a gun. Meanwhile, another suggests that he had telekinetic powers
from the start which he shall now use to destroy all of Hawkins. Maybe when Ross
Duffer talks about Will Byers’ coming-of-age journey, he was referring to him
becoming the villain!
