grandchildren of Queen Camilla will have a prominent official role at the coronation and Prince George is also set to feature in the service

King Charles and Camilla Break Away From Royal Traditions, Queen Consort to Make a “Bold Move” for the Upcoming Coronation

King Charles’s coronation has become the talk of the town in the United Kingdom.
Soon after Queen Camilla’s latest gig created a stir in the media, the Palace
disclosed the latest developments for the ceremony which will see King Charles
and Camilla taking things into their own hands. After rising to be the Queen
from the Queen Consort, Charles’s wife now wishes to bring her family to the
center stage.

Reportedly, this would be the first step by the Queen to bring her side of the
family, especially the grandchildren. Ever since her marriage to King Charles,
they have always been shielded by the media at the request of their parents.

However, as exclusively reported by Time Magazine

in a “bold move”, the King and Queen have decided to have all of their grandkids
at Westminster Abbey on the 6th of May. Not just mere presence, but they will
also be rendering some prominent duties on the momentous occasion.

The source reported that there is a special tradition to hold the canopy over
her as she is anointed with the holy oil during the most sacred part of the
ceremony. This honor was reportedly vested in the hands of Duchesses of the
House of Windsors. But “The Queen Consort does not want Duchesses, she would
like it to be her grandchildren.”

WHAT DO KING CHARLES AND QUEEN CAMILLA HAVE IN MIND FOR PRINCE GEORGE?

In another break away from the Royal protocols, Prince George of Wales the
future heir to the throne is to be entitled to an entirely different role. His
parents, The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton are
also keen on the same

The palace is reportedly discussing for a while “that does not subject him to
overwhelming scrutiny.” This would be the first time that a young heir will have
a significant designation at a coronation event. Earlier during Queen Elizabeth
II’s crowning ceremony, Prince Charles too did not play much of an official
role.

What do you think the new role of Prince George would be? Given the dynamics,
what are your opinions on the shifts in the House of Windsor? Let us know in the
