Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial documentary set to release on August 16 on Netflix but fans are just not into it.

“I stand with Johnny Depp” – Fans are furious over ‘Depp v. Heard’ as Netflix releases trailer

While Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were embroiled in one of the most notorious
lawsuits in Hollywood, the entire nation’s eyes were glued to their screens.
What started with a mere op-ed in 2018 ended as one of the most dividing topics
of this decade. When Amber Heard’s op-ed about her experiences of facing sexual
abuse made its way to Johnny Depp and his legal team, its repercussions rocked
the entire globe.

Now two years later, here to catch us up on the same story, Netflix is all set
to release its documentary on the topic
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-a-years-after-the-defamation-case-netflix-is-all-set-to-release-the-much-highlighted-court-trial-of-johnny-depp-vs-amber-heard/]
titled Depp V Heard on 16th August. While the trial is the focal point of the
upcoming series, Netflix Tudum [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/tudum/] clarifies
that the intentions of the director Emma Cooper are not to further gossip and
rumors. After all, the case was the talk of the town having piqued the public’s
interest like no other trial in this decade. And now the trailer for Depp V
Heard is here to do it all over again.

Although the three-part series will follow the same trial most of the nation has
already seen, Netflix attempts to portray the trial with a refreshing take on
the circumstances surrounding it. Instead of what was shown in mainstream media,
the show aims to provide an impartial perspective. But this does not seem to
have calmed down the fans of both celebrities, who feel the two are being made
to relive their traumas.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard may have moved on with their lives, but the court of
public opinion never rests. With Heard rumored to have moved to Spain

and Depp quietly residing in London, their fans have taken the helm of defending
the ship against Netflix. Seems like the trial that was the center of intense
media attention for six long weeks will be making quite a comeback.

FANS COME TO THE RESCUE OF AMBER HEARD AND JOHNNY DEPP

A month may have passed since Netflix announced the series, but fans’ moods
about it have still not changed. One Twitter user stands strong in their support
for their side saying “We stand with Johnny Depp.” while another has a message
for Netflix reading, “We didn’t ask for this.” A user is left in disbelief at
Netflix wanting to revive the topic saying, “This is fake right??? RIGHT?“.

saying they stand with Amber. Another user comes to her defense saying to show
the truth and not portray her in a bad light.

just turn anything into a documentary just for cash grab“. Another user simply
remarks “Like we didn’t get enough of this the first 20 times“
