The world has hardly recovered from the 2023 Oscars 95. While top-tier actors and celebrities from all around the world made their mark in the star-studded event, America’s own jewels stunned the show with their talent and glam. However, some disappearances in the event could not be left unnoticed. America’s one of the most influential royal celebrities, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, did not turn up for the Academy Awards despite the invitations. However, they might have a reason to. 

Back in 2018, too, the royal couple was invited to be the Oscar presenters at the prestigious. However, due to some obvious reasons, the couple was deprived of the same. Of course, it was none other than the rules surrounding their security. 

As reported via Laineygossip by Elle magazine, multiple sources revealed to the outlets they had seriously considered the invitation. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seriously wanted to attend the 90th Oscars Award show. And in fact, some early fashion arrangements were also made by the invitees to groom up for the red carpet appearance. However, unfortunately, some last-minute plans could not let it happen.

The reason was “security and logistics as revealed by insiders to the publications. Reports also suggest that for a brief catch-up with a world renowned star, the press holds the stars at arrival tents, hounding them with questions from all over. “Creating that gap for a royal saunter would be complicated” read reports. Thus the then-newly meds who already had the world’s attention fixed at every breath they took, sadly opted out of the show. 

This time around, guesses stand at the same point with the Sussexes not seen during the Oscars 95. It is also understood that the couple is now swamped with the recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. The recovery of Prince Harry’s could have been a huge question mark if the US Government has not handled it properly.
