The heated court battle that served as one of the greatest media frenzies in 2022 is reportedly arriving on Netflix. It has once again come under media scrutiny after completing a whole year and two months down the calendar. <a href="https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/news/netflix-acquires-depp-v-heard-documentary-series-for-release-in-august-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">An official report by Whats on Netflix stated</a> that the documentary will hit the screens in three parts, recalling the events that headlined the case. Out of all the episodes, episodes two and three will specifically entail the media&#8217;s involvement in the case and how it received the final verdict.

Hence, in a way, Netflix has had a winning hand in Depp&#8217;s victory in the case. 
<h2>What is the release date for Depp v Heard on Netflix? </h2>
As for regions outside the United Kingdom, the three-part docuseries will land on Netflix on the 16th of August, 2023. Without the original branding of the series, it is unclear if the audience in the United Kingdom will actually get a glimpse of the same via Netflix.

This comes in contrast to the humongous traction it gained during the time of the live broadcast.
