Gilmore Girls is officially leaving Netflix in the United States after spending more than a decade on the streaming platform. The announcement has left many longtime fans wondering where they will be able to continue visiting Stars Hollow once the beloved series disappears from the service.
Netflix confirmed that all seven seasons will leave its library on June 30, ending a 12-year run that began when the show arrived on the platform in 2014. Despite first premiering in 2000, the comedy-drama has remained one of Netflix's most popular comfort watches, even returning to Nielsen's list of the most-streamed shows in recent years.
The streamer marked the occasion with a heartfelt farewell on social media, quoting one of the show's memorable early lines before thanking fans for "visiting Stars Hollow" over the years. Thankfully, viewers won't have to wait long before they can start another rewatch elsewhere.

Where can you watch Gilmore Girls after it leaves Netflix?
Fans looking for their next Stars Hollow binge will not have to search for long. Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls will begin streaming on Prime Video from July 1, giving the beloved series a new home immediately after its Netflix departure.
The series, created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, originally premiered on The WB in 2000 and followed the close bond between single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel). The ensemble cast also featured Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Melissa McCarthy, Sean Gunn and the late Edward Herrmann.
While the original series is moving to Prime Video, one part of the Gilmore Girls universe isn't going anywhere just yet.
Is Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life leaving Netflix too?
The four-part revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, remains available on Netflix because it was produced as a Netflix Original. That means fans can still stream the 2016 follow-up on the platform even after the original seven seasons move elsewhere.
