Among the many young faces that represent the new face of rap, Jaden Smith and Playboi Carti are two rhythmic poets in their 20s, trying to bring about an evolution in the rap game with their unique beats and bars. Since Carti had teased his next album all the way back in 2020, his fans had been growing more restless by the day for good reason. Many now believe that the ‘Icon’ singer might feature in Carti’s next works.

Well, netizens cannot help but entertain the idea that these two might be collaborating on a track now. The Instagram story certainly seems like a hint for fans signaling in this direction. However, what “that 5” alludes to, remains to be decoded.

In the past, Smith and Carti have only featured on one song together. This was the A$AP Mob score, ‘Perry Aye’ that showcased them together with A$AP Rocky and A$AP Nast in 2017. On X, many were convinced that this recent share by the ‘Magnolia’ rapper signals another collaboration between the two.
