Kanye West &#8216;Vultures&#8217;: Rapper Embraces Freedom Like Never Before With This Greatest Emphasis

tendency to adjust projects throughout development, causing minor delays to his
music releases. However, ‘Vultures’ really tested his fans’ patience before
finally arriving on Apple Music yesterday. It experienced significant setbacks
due to back-to-back challenges the ‘Donda’ rapper faced. One factor that
contributed to the prolonged timeline the most was the rap industry dynamics. In
particular, the fact that no labels wanted to distribute his music for fear of
negative publicity due to his many ongoing controversies. 

Judging by a recent development, it appears that he crossed this hurdle in
typical Ye style.


KANYE WEST POINTS OUT AN INTRIGUING FACT ABOUT VULTURES

Just a little while ago, West took to his Instagram story to share a screenshot
[https://www.instagram.com/stories/kanyewest/3299566499437054629/] from the
bottom of the Apple Music page of ‘Vultures’. It showed the distribution details
of his album which deemed the copyrights to be owned by the “YZY” label.  So, it
appears that after several unsuccessful label negotiations that were revealed in
October last year

the 46-year-old ended up launching his album through his own, YZY LLC!

The fact that the 24-time Grammy Winner shared not one but two screenshots
emphasizing this fact through a zoom-in makes it clear that Ye plans on relying
on himself for releasing music going forward. This, in turn, would mean that he
will not be bound by any restrictions that would have been placed on him by
other labels, allowing him the perfect playground to write whatever he wants,
tasteful or otherwise.

Not only distribution, West seems to have taken another matter into his hands
that had initially interrupted his album release. 


VULTURES ARRIVES DESPITE AN UNAUTHORIZED SAMPLE

Another aspect that kept hindering Ye from releasing ‘Vultures’ was the fact
that it contained samples by the Backstreet Boys and Nicki Minaj, neither of
which he had taken permission to use. While the ‘Vultures’ score does not
contain either of these songs that he had earlier teased, likely due to
copyright issues, the Chicago native ended up taking the liberty of still using
an unauthorized sample of ‘War Pigs’ by Ozzy Osbourne for his ‘Carnival’ track
in ‘Vultures’.

After the former Black Sabbath vocalist called him out for it, West lashed back
at him with a mocking retort

So, even after the arrival of ‘Vultures’, it seems that the drama surrounding it

last year declared that he did not want any “association” with West. Although,
it might be too late for that now.
