Today, Kanye West fans were served up a delicious treat pertaining to the rapper’s next big move. The anticipation surrounding the much-awaited ‘Vultures’ album was momentarily overshadowed by Spotify’s intriguing announcement of an upcoming concert by Ye. In a move that raised eyebrows and piqued curiosity, the platform disclosed that he was about to drop beats at an unconventional venue, the Ferris Wheelers Backyard and BBQ in Fort Worth, Dallas.

Since the news had neither been confirmed nor denied by the 24-time Grammy winner, there was no surety of it yet. An update has finally emerged putting rest to everybody’s curiosities. 

A twist in the concert speculation

It was just revealed by YeFanatics on X (previously Twitter) that the news about Ye performing in Dallas was fake! According to visuals that accompanied the news, anybody can add a concert” to Spotify, meaning that it was all just a prank or possibly a scam. Miscreants had pulled a similar maneuver with Frank Ocean in the past. The page on Spotify was planning on selling fake tickets to eager fans.

The news had been welcomed with open arms as a comeback, resonating even more profoundly since his last rap concert was two years ago. Scammers had slyly hinted that scoring tickets to this exclusive affair, scheduled for April 15th, would be akin to treasure available only on the Songkick platform. The tantalizing prospect of an intimate concert experience had heightened fans’ sense of exclusivity.

While the veil still shrouds the faces behind this prank, fans may soon have a real concert to look forward to. 

Ty Dolla $ign addressed a Vultures world tour

Yesterday, Ty Dolla $ign and Adin Ross joined forces to deliver a live stream. During it, the ‘Or Nah’ singer subtly hinted at an upcoming global tour for ‘Vultures’ alongside Ye. When Ross suggested that the rappers hit the road after the album drops, the 41-year-old casually affirmed, “Yeah, we do, approving the possibility. So unlike the Dallas show, an international adventure may be on the cards for West.

Almost a decade has passed since the father of four last went on a world tour. So, this new opportunity will be a huge one for his supporters if it materializes. However, for that to happen, the album will need to be released first, which appears to have turned into a never-ending chase. After months of delay, fans can only hope it drops in February.
