At the most recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day press event in Madrid, Tom Holland and Zendaya walked the red carpet together like a power couple. The couple who have been dating for a long time are currently busy promoting their new film, which is their fourth Spider-Man movie together. Their first movie together was Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), and then they went on to do two more - Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). 

Now, they will once again share a screen together, and to hype the movie up, they walked the Madrid red carpet in coordinated blacks.

As they begin the promotional tour for their upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Zendaya and Tom Holland posed together on the red carpet for the first time in five years. The couple, who are reportedly soon to be wedded, pulled up in coordinated blacks for Monday's photocall in Madrid for their new Spider-Man film.

Zendaya looked stunning in a corseted dress with a fringed skirt and thigh-high split. In a nod to his Spider-Man role in the eagerly awaited new film, Tom coordinated with his partner, matching in a black suit with the collar of his bright red shirt showing. The chemistry between them was evident, and the adoring glances they shared with each other in between were just the cherry on top.

However, this red carpet appearance also becomes special as it comes after almost five years since they were last seen posing together. The last time the couple stood together on the red carpet was the marketing trail for the 2021 Spider-Man movie, No Way Home. Interestingly, in the same year, the Uncharted actor confirmed his relationship with the Dune actress publicly.

But why did it take five years for the couple to share a red carpet moment? There is an interesting reason behind it.

The reason why Tom Holland and Zendaya did not share the red carpet together for five years is really admirable. Holland recently told Men's Health that he does not walk the red carpet with his significant other at premieres because it is her moment, not his, and if they go together, it will become about them. A noble thought indeed.

However, there will be many opportunities for joint appearances this year. In addition to reuniting as Peter Parker and MJ in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the two will co-star in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which is scheduled for release on July 17, almost a couple of weeks before the forthcoming Marvel movie.
