While his <strong>homeland of Austria offered him a rather humble start</strong>, there was nothing humble about what he would go on to achieve. After finding immense success as a bodybuilder and actor, he also ventured into the tricky area of politics. However, his wave of victories would continue as he managed to bag the position of Governor of California in 2003. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These particular skills from his time as a politician resurfaced a few years back when he faced off with an American actress while representing Austria.</span></p>
<h2><strong>The Terminator co-stars go head-to-head over snacks</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In 2020, Linda Hamilton who portrayed Sarah Connor in <em>The Terminator</em> alongside Schwarzenegger engaged in the most amusing face-offs with him. When LadBible pitched them against each other in a competition to see which country’s snacks were better, things got interesting. Although the 76-year-old managed <strong>a landslide victory with Austria’s top-notch snacks</strong>, he still deemed both countries winners. This led to Hamilton calling him “<em>such a politician</em>” for being too neutral. </span></p>

<h2><strong>Arnold Schwarzenegger returned to Austria to host this</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Back in May, Schwarzenegger left for Austria to join the Austria World Summit conference that he himself pioneered. Since 2017, <strong>the <em>Kindergarten Cop</em> actor hosts the event each year</strong> with the aim to help the country achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. While there, he even shared a heart-warming click that showed <a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/hollywood-news-back-to-childhood-arnold-schwarzenegger-reunites-with-his-childhood-buddies-at-the-austrian-world-summit-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">him enjoying a good time with some childhood friends</a> that he made all the way back in elementary school!</span></p>
