Prince William and Prince Harry might have turned their backs on each other at the moment. However, there was a time the two brothers relied on each other for the most sensitive matters that ever existed. Following their mother’s tragic demise in their early years aggravated by King Charles’ marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles, the two brothers only had each other to paddle themselves through tough waters. Prince William, however, understood what the time demanded of him and took the responsibilities of the future King. Nonetheless, things did not go as smoothly with Prince Harry. 

However, the heir to the throne tried his best to look after his younger brother. It is no secret that the juvenile Duke turned to alcohol and drugs as a coping mechanism to get past things. There had been much controversy involved regarding the same to which the Duke has also admitted in various instances. But Prince William, at least for some time, had the back of the disturbed Duke. As reported by Express, the now Prince of Wales offered the Sussex Prince a piece of incredible advice to deal with his distractions. 

At the age of 28, the Prince once revealed in his unearthed interview that it was his brother who first recommended him to seek professional help. The Duke in the interview also confessed how this suggestion always pushed him to invest himself in philanthropic activities that served the same purpose for those in need.

Gushing over the same, the Prince confessed how he loves it because of its connection to Princess Diana.  

Prince Harry and William were both passionate about charity work

The Duke in the interview narrated how charitable endeavors and campaigns have always been a driving force for the Monarchy. And having learned their way from People’s Princess, Lady Diana herself, the brothers had a close connection to the charity and stuff as such. For their mother, the two got to have a closer look at the grievances of the people. 

“We are incredibly passionate about our charities and they have been chosen because they are on the path shown to me by our mother,” confessed Prince Harry in the not-so-popular interview.
