As Holland explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, both he and Haaland were in Monaco for the Formula 1 race. And after spotting the Norwegian striker, the actor decided to text him and invite him to dinner. Instead, he did not get any response. While Holland seemingly did not think much of it, the same could not be said for Haaland.
The Manchester City star has also shared the story publicly, and the entire incident stemmed from a hilarious misunderstanding rather than an intentional snub.
