left an enduring mark on the world with his dedicated charity endeavors. The
Friends luminary who passed away last month was a vocal supporter of addiction
recovery, a struggle he was familiar with himself. Besides backing organizations
that combat this issue, he had also set up The Matthew Perry Foundation, which
works towards these goals. Additionally, his philanthropy also extended to
mental health initiatives, where he tirelessly advocated for awareness and
funds.

As it turns out, he once made a huge donation after coming into a large sum
himself.

legend: Michael J. Fox spoke on his relationship with Matthew Perry. After all,

“inspiration” behind his “acting aspiration” too. Well, Fox confessed that he
shared a mutual respect for Perry. Especially since the latter had written a
check worth $1 million for the former’s charity dedicated to Parkinson’s
disease!
