According to a Forbes analysis, 'I Knew It, I Knew You' is Swift's second single to debut inside the top 10 of the Radio Songs chart. No other artist has ever managed to accomplish the feat more than once.
The achievement carries even greater significance considering how rare such debuts have historically been. According to Billboard, Swift first accomplished the feat in October 2025 when 'The Fate of Ophelia,' the lead single from her album The Life of a Showgirl, also entered the Radio Songs chart at No. 7. By matching that performance with 'I Knew It, I Knew You,' she now stands alone as the only artist in Billboard history to debut multiple songs inside the chart's top 10.
The exclusive list of songs that have debuted inside the Radio Songs top 10 remains remarkably short. Before Taylor Swift joined the group, only a handful of artists had managed the feat, including Janet Jackson with 'All for You,' Lady Gaga with 'Born This Way,' Rihanna with 'Lift Me Up,' and Adele with 'Easy on Me,' which still holds the record for the highest debut at No. 4.
Jackson first set the benchmark in 2001 before Gaga joined the club a decade later. Another ten years passed before Adele reset expectations with her record-breaking debut. Now, Swift has gone one step further by becoming the only artist to repeat the accomplishment.
The latest success also expands her overall Radio Songs presence to 55 career entries. Of those appearances, 24 have reached the top 10, while eight have climbed all the way to No. 1. Given its strong opening position, industry observers believe 'I Knew It, I Knew You' could soon challenge for the summit as well.

'I Knew It, I Knew You' momentum extends far beyond a single Billboard ranking. In total, the song debuted across 13 different Billboard charts, including five radio-focused tallies. Alongside its historic Radio Songs launch, the track entered Country Airplay at No. 8 and Adult Contemporary at No. 9, while also securing top-20 starts on both Adult Pop Airplay and Pop Airplay.
The strong radio reception is particularly noteworthy in an era where streaming largely dictates music consumption habits. Unlike streaming platforms, radio success often requires sustained listener demand and widespread support across multiple formats, making the track's immediate impact even more impressive. The early performance suggests that Taylor Swift's latest release is resonating well beyond her core fan base and reaching a broader audience across the country.
Meanwhile, Swift is enjoying equally impressive results overseas. According to the Official Charts Company, the Toy Story 5 anthem recorded the biggest sales week of 2026 in the United Kingdom, spending a second consecutive week at No. 1. Following the release of limited-edition CD and vinyl formats, the single surged to 71,000 chart units, surpassing the 70,000-unit benchmark previously set by Harry Styles' 'Aperture' earlier this year.

The accomplishment is particularly notable because it represents the biggest week for pure sales in the U.K. since November 2023, when The Beatles released 'Now and Then.' Even amid fierce competition from Olivia Rodrigo, who currently occupies three of the nation's top five chart positions, Swift continues to demonstrate her unique ability to dominate across multiple formats simultaneously.
While streaming often dominates today's music industry conversation, Swift's latest milestone highlights the breadth of her commercial reach.
