Ryan Reynolds is extremely mindful about keeping his kids away from the limelight. It is probably why people lose their minds every time the Canadian actor or his wife, Blake Lively, spill a little about life with their four kids. The cherished stories usually revolve around Lively fearlessly leading the gang or Reynolds figuring out how to handle being a girl dad. But no matter which family stories they share, it always brings on the knee-slapping hilarity.

Speaking of stories, Reynolds recently passed along a suggestion that is going to be a godsend for parents, who are looking for meaningful ways to spend time with their children.

Ryan Reynolds recently spilled the beans on something that could easily make any parent their kids' favorite. Taking to Instagram, the Deadpool actor shared a story with a picture of Cleo Wade’s heartfelt picture book, May You Love and Be Loved: Wishes for Your Life. Reynolds kept it simple with a caption that read, “Highly recommended!”. He also tagged Cleo Wade and gushed about how much he enjoys reading the “thoughtful, smart and funny” book to his kids.

In her book, Cleo Wade brings her touching life lessons to curate a motivating, approachable, and soulful guide for today's youth. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are firm believers in taking care of their children without any outside assistance, unlike many of their Hollywood peers. So, for parents who follow this same path, such a resource could be incredibly useful in discovering ways to bond with their kids. And recently, Ryan Reynolds stumbled upon yet another way to do just that, with a little help from John Krasinski.

John Krasinski gathered a star-studded lineup from Hollywood to contribute their voices to his animated project, IF. He also signed Blake Lively and his wife Emily Blunt for it. And it was for this gesture of hiring both him and his wife, without much of a hassle, in the same movie that left Ryan Reynolds feeling especially grateful to Krasinski.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Free Guy star shared his relief that John Krasinski spared his wife, Lively, from a "grueling audition process" before casting her. This has given their children the chance to watch both their mom and dad on screen together again, something that has not happened since their 2011 film, Green Lantern. This also gave the father of four another excuse to enjoy some quality time with his kids, aside from reading Cleo Wade to them.
