Royal Brothers Crumble Further – Prince Harry and Prince William’s Sweet Picture in the National Gallery Goes Down Amidst the Feud
One of the biggest royal controversies that has been feeding the media frenzies is the long-standing feud between Prince Harry and Prince William. What started off as arguments regarding the institution gradually began to widen further between the two royals. As the future King, Prince William decided to pledge his service to the British Monarchy. On the other hand, King Charles’ youngest, who always felt like “a shadow, a Plan B,’‘ called it quits with the palace. As stated by the Duke himself, the physical altercation before the infamous Megxit was the final nail in the coffin. However, that was not it.
As the row between the royals continues to pierce through with no signs of reconciliation, the National Portrait Gallery has decided to take things into its own hands. As confirmed by Express, the gallery has decided to bring down one of the most incredible throwbacks to the glorious past of the brothers. The portrait was reportedly commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery, as early as 2008.

Nicky Philipps painted the portrait on display in London a decade ago before it underwent its recent €35 million three-year refurbishment. The latest developments confirm that the curators of the gallery took the decision to remove it from the display. And definitely not the royal family. “With over 250,000 portraits in our collection, we are only able to display a small percentage within our building,” said a spokesperson to the outlet.
