After years of co-owning Wrexham AFC, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney seem to have formed a friendship unlike any other.

Rob McElhenney’s Touching Statement for Ryan Reynolds Hints at a Growing Bond Between the Wrexham AFC Co-owners

The tale of Wrexham AFC under the leadership of Ryan Reynolds
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/] and Rob McElhenney is a narrative
that could rival the most gripping of Hollywood blockbusters. Especially since
their ownership journey with the historic Welsh club has been nothing short of
cinematic. Since assuming control of the club in 2020, the duo has presented an
unshakable unified front, only turning on each other for the sake of banter
sometimes. As seen in Welcome to Wrexham, their camaraderie screams ‘BFFs’.

It was not always so as the pair’s friendship had a surprising beginning.

ROB MCELHENNEY REVEALS HIS FEELINGS FOR HIS WREXHAM AFC CO-OWNER

A post that E! News shared on its Instagram page earlier today featured a
comment that McElhenney made regarding his relationship with Reynolds. In it,
the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor revealed that he was a stranger to
the Deadpool actor before their Wrexham escapade. Well, McElhenney considers him
one of his “closest friends” now! In the three years that he spent with the Free
Guy star, McElhenney has grown quite fond of his friend.

Since both men share an origin story that has its roots in Hollywood, this
revelation is also quite shocking. Despite being unacquainted initially, he once
claimed to have enjoyed some of the best years of his life with Reynolds.

Well, this is a significant sign for Wrexham supporters. With two leaders who
are so in sync with each other, the club is bound to enjoy some smooth
management, too.

Not to forget their amusing antics that keep their team and audiences
entertained.

RYAN REYNOLDS AND MCELHENNEY’S SHARED LOVE FOR PRANKS

Besides their mutual investment in Wrexham AFC, Reynolds and McElhenney are
joined by their insatiable appetite for pulling practical jokes on each other.
When it comes to pranks, neither of them holds back. One of the long-running
jokes between them began with the Spirited actor savagely making fun of
McElhenney’s height. Reynolds even teamed up with the latter’s partner to poke
fun at him

once.

Earlier this year, the father of four also gave McElhenney a splendid birthday
present that doubled as a prank. It seems like when it comes to mischief, both
Wrexham owners have found their match in each other. Considering the
aforementioned heartwarming statement the Fargo actor made, it seems like these
light-hearted moments have only brought the two closer. Their adorable bromance
will probably continue to entertain fans for years.
