First, Kate Middleton underwent an abdominal procedure last month. Then, King Charles was revealed to be suffering from an enlarged prostate, which later turned into a diagnosis of cancer. Upon hearing of his father’s illness, the Duke of Sussex decided to forgo grudges, and finally visited his father. 
As it turns out, his visit was brief and did not include the family reunion many were expecting it to be.

A royal source also revealed that &#8220;no plans&#8221; of a reunion between him and Prince William had materialized. Another anonymous source close to the Buckingham Palace residents felt it was still a step in the right direction. According to the insider, it opened the doors for the monarch to possibly meet his “grandchildren” eventually.

Meanwhile, his father’s condition remains unknown. Despite announcing a detailed report of the king’s earlier diagnosis of an enlarged prostate, the crown has kept information regarding his cancer diagnosis shrouded in mystery except for revealing that he will undergo regular treatment for it.

With his father’s ailment and his wife’s recovery still underway, the Prince of Wales returned to work today to carry out an investiture ceremony in his father’s absence. He has stepped up to keep the ongoings flowing at Buckingham Palace, all the while taking care of his wife.

Meanwhile, it seems unlikely that Prince Harry will be reuniting with his family members, judging by the brief sojourn.
