It is undoubtedly King’s Day in the United Kingdom for sure. The newly crowned Monarch officially started his reign ruling over Britain and the other 15 commonwealth nations. However, his eldest daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, has been ruling the hearts of the spectators of the royal spectacle. With her exquisite coronation special ensemble adorned with the sparkling floral tiara, the Princess of Wales captivated the onlookers at London Central for the grand occasion. As reported earlier, a couple of priceless pieces of jewelry and ornaments were nothing but major tributes to the great and famous family. But did you know, she also gave a nod to the King too with her attire?

The centerpiece of the royal household stunned a gorgeous Jess Collet x Alexander McQueen headpiece for the King. Opting out of the traditional custom of wearing a crown tiara on events as such, the Princess of Wales looked glamorous in the floral headpiece. Nonetheless, it was not just the regal beauty of the luxury that mattered to her. As reported by People Magazine, the stunning masterpiece has a special link to the well-known charity of the King, The Prince’s Trust.

As mentioned earlier, the headpiece has been intricately designed by a well-known couture milliner in England, Jess Collet. The retail industry has been sustaining itself with loans from the Prince’s trust. It has been 25 years since the milliner couture has been flourishing with the royal loan. On the occasion of the Princess’ tribute, Collet took to Instagram to acknowledge the monarch’s charity. The palace too reverted to the message with a thank you note to the designer.

As per the books, the ideal headpiece for any royal woman of the Windsors ought to be the ancestral tiaras passed down to Queens and Princesses for generations. Nonetheless, Kate Middleton’s thoughtful tribute to the goodwill of King Charles overshadowed the break from the royal tradition. The Princess looked nothing less majestic than the monarchs who adorned the jewel-laden Crowns.
