<p>A true master of his craft, Ryan Gosling recently gave one of his best performances so far in Greta Gerwig’s <em>Barbie</em>. Effortlessly weaving magic into every role he takes on, the actor is quite the enigma. With his sparkling eyes and enchanting smile, the <em>La La Land</em> actor landed the part of Ken with ease. Now winning our admiration once again with his portrayal of Ken, he must be sipping cocktails somewhere, reveling in Barbie’s success.</p>
<p>The live-action comedy is set in the matriarchal world of Barbies, where one day a unique challenge arises. As the storyline progresses, Stereotypical Ken played by Gosling brings up an unexpected plight he’s facing. And much like Ken in the movie, the actor that plays him revealed his insecurity in an interview from 2022.</p>
<h2><strong>Ryan Gosling empathizes with the Kens of the world</strong></h2>
<p>At a promotional event for Netflix’s <em>Gray Man</em>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/shorts/LHta0E2orek" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ryan Gosling spoke to Variety</a> about his anticipation for <em>Barbie</em>. Foreshadowing what was going to be a major theme in the movie, the 42-year-old expresses his dismay at the fact that &#8220;<em>nobody plays with the Kens</em>&#8221; the way they do with Barbies. Adorably relating to his character from the movie, he says that a lot of Kens will feel seen through this movie.
