Despite her big plans to return to the big screen, Meghan Markle is reportedly facing some hiccups on her way to reach where she left it. While the Duchess is trying her best to keep pace by attending high-profile gatherings and Hollywood screenings, she does not seem to be getting better luck with her circle anywhere yet. Although she has her celebrity friends to back her up, the social traction that she needs to climb the ladder further up is nowhere near reach. 

The Duchess' recent visit to the Hamptons' G9 high-profile business summit was no exception either. 

As reported by the New York Post, citing NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, celebrities at the G9 Ventures Summer Summit in the Hamptons deliberately dodged photo opportunities with Meghan Markle, fearing it would imply endorsement. "They know that if they are in a picture with [Meghan] it is a tacit approval of her that she can use to promote herself," a source revealed to the outlet. 

Meghan Markle was spotted socializing with Misha Nonoo and Bobbi Brown. However, there were no photos with A-list attendees, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, or Diane Sawyer. No bytes or comments of any celebrity speaking of or associating with the Duchess were found to be recorded either. The Duchess's efforts to connect with influential figures were reportedly met with a clear boundary, prioritizing their brands over association with her.

While onlookers have raised questions about Meghan Markle's attendance, the Duchess had all the reasons to grace the event. 

The exclusive event, hosted at Amy Griffin's $13 million estate, brought together influential women like Sima Sistani, Sara Blakely, and Victoria Jackson. As per the report, Meghan Markle was invited to the G9 Ventures Summer Summit to network with female founders and gain insights ahead of launching her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. 

She flew in from Santa Barbara in her $42, 900 worth ensemble, with entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, indicating her serious intent to connect with like-minded women with business profiles. Meghan Markle’s presence was greeted by some of her close associates, who took their social handles to celebrate the Duchess, potentially paving the way for her own brand's success.
