Meghan Markle clearly follows in her mother Doria Ragland's footsteps with a passion for yoga practice since she was 7.

Meghan Markle Teases Curvy Zen Yoga Moments From Bombshell Netflix Documentary

The former American actress has undoubtedly come a long way, but her roots are
still grounded in the values she inherited. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/meghan-markle], has always known the daughter of
the controversial Emmy-winning photographer, Thomas Markle. But what people have
hardly realized is that she is also the daughter of a well-established yoga
trainer in the US, Doria Ragland. And for all we know, the Duchess has grown
closer to her mother way more than Thomas Markle. Or so say the traits she has
carried forward her mom’s legacy swiftly forward.

Like husband, like wife. Just as Prince Harry
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/prince-harry/] religiously walks on the path
paved by his mother, Meghan Markle too follows the same wholeheartedly. Her mom,
Ragland, has been earning a living out of her zen yoga sessions. And Markle can
thus hardly help the same.

We always knew the Duchess to be the one who likes to keep fit. Nonetheless, the
first-ever glimpse that showed how Markle has not forgotten her roots was from
the Netflix bombshell docuseries, Harry & Meghan. Along with all the thrilling
revelations that came as a shocker, Meghan Markle also showed how they have been
up and running with their own lives. And yoga hence forms a significant part of
her life.

The Duchess had her perfect set-up for the yoga sessions built at home.
Providing her voice-over to all Zen moves, the Duchess practiced some before the
camera. Apart from home sessions, Markle also happens to attend private workout
sessions in an external space.

MEGHAN MARKLE AND HER TAKE ON PHYSICAL FITNESS

Ever since her hype from the famous Suits Program on Netflix to this date, the
Duchess has hardly gone out of shape ever. Except for the time she welcomed her
two bundles of joy, the yoga fan has always been a delight in the pictures. All
her secrets behind the persistent fit figure lie in regular yoga workouts.

Speaking to Best magazine as reported by Hello,
[https://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/498711/meghan-markle-lycra-clad-yoga-session-video/]
Markle gave us an in-depth analysis of her passion for yoga. “Yoga is my thing.
My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when
I was seven”. She further revealed that she has been resistant as a kid.
However, it was her mom with her adorable nickname for Markle
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-my-mum-still-calls-me-flower-meghan-markle-41-reveals-how-she-is-still-her-mothers-little-girl/],
helped her gain expertise in the same. And thus by the time Markle reached
college, she was already into doing it regularly.

At times when the Duchess runs out of motivation, she rekindles her drive to
give it in. “My health, my state of mind, the feeling you have after a workout;
all of these things drive me to step onto my mat,” she said. It does not only
help Markle be at peace but almost makes her feel “euphoric.”
