Joseph Baena shares the same passion for fitness as his famous father, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 28-year-old not only closely resembles the Hollywood legend but has also followed in his footsteps by pursuing the same passion. While he explored chances in films and television, Baena has also remained committed to professional bodybuilding as well. 

After months of tough training, sweat, and grit, he has now taken his first major step in the sport, earning his first win.

Joseph Baena stepped into the bodybuilding arena for the first time, competing in a professional contest in Denver, and made an impressive debut. He secured first place in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavyweight Class, Men’s Classic Physique True Novice, and Men’s Classic Physique Novice categories at the NPC Natural Colorado State competition. The Gunner actor also finished second, earning a silver medal in the Men’s Classic Physique Open Class C.

Following the win, the actor and bodybuilder shared the photos from the event on his Instagram. The carousel post had pictures of him flexing his ripped physique at the event, and it was captioned “Mission Accomplished!” Before the event, he had also shared several updates on his journey and preparations for the competition.

“Tanned up and checked in! Ready for tomorrow’s show,” he captioned one of his posts ahead of the competition.

Baena also shared details of his strict diet on Instagram before the big day. That explains his dedication to the sport and his determination to carve a different path for himself. But he was not alone in his efforts, as his famous father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was by his side throughout the journey to win.

In a video shared online ahead of the competition, both father and son, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joseph Baena, were spotted training together at the gym. The Terminator star stood beside his son, coaching him and seemingly passing on his wealth of knowledge as Baena continued to work hard. He was seen continuously adjusting Baena's posture to ensure he was prepared for the competition. 

Schwarzenegger himself has had a massive presence in the world of bodybuilding. Alongside his incredible career in Hollywood, the legend also holds seven Mr. Olympia titles. It is that legacy that inspired Baena to chase his own path. Now, with Baena’s first win, Schwarzenegger’s legacy is clearly in capable hands.
