During a recent appearance on the Shut Up Evan podcast, Garner looked back on a period that pushed her to speak out alongside fellow actress Halle Berry, ultimately becoming part of a larger conversation about protecting celebrity families from invasive media attention.

Although the legislation addressed many of the concerns and the bill got eventually passed, Garner said life under the public eye did not simply disappear. In fact, one surprising aspect of her relationship with the paparazzi has continued for more than two decades.

Among the most surprising revelations from the conversation she had on the Shut Up Evan podcast, Jennifer Garner shared that two photographers have continued following her for more than two decades, resulting in a relationship she described as both unusual and difficult to explain. She even recalled one frightening incident where she ran toward one of the photographers because she feared someone else intended to harm her.

"There's kind of a Stockholm Syndrome thing," Garner said.

Even so, Garner admitted she has also called the police on the same photographer a million times, hoping for just a little privacy while spending time with her children and walking her dog.

Garner is currently promoting The Five Star Weekend, which premiered on Peacock on July 9. Beyond the new series, the actress is also reportedly attached to produce a Netflix reboot of her beloved 2004 romantic comedy 13 Going on 30.
