Jennifer Aniston likes a seemingly anti-semitic post on Instagram. Now she posts a story to explain her feelings about the fiasco.

Jennifer Aniston Clarifies Her Position on Anti-Semitism After Facing Backlash For Liking This Artist’s Post

Queen of the beloved Friends sitcom, Jennifer Aniston is a timeless icon.
Besides the Hollywood stardom, her philanthropic endeavors are well-known to
fans. Navigating both her work and real life with much grace, she has inspired
countless individuals through her journey as well. This is why recent online
events have come as a shock to the actress’s loyal fans, especially when the
topic of the controversy is of such a sensitive nature.

For all her endearing qualities, one does not expect the 54-year-old to get
entangled in a messy controversy. But recent events on Instagram forced the
actor to speak her mind on certain issues that one prefers to avoid.

JENNIFER ANISTON LIKES AN AMBIGUOUS POST THAT STARTED IT ALL

Yesterday, Jamie Foxx took to Instagram to vent some anger he was feeling at
being betrayed by somebody in a now-deleted post. Although it is unclear who he
was referring to, his words were deemed anti-Semitic. But what stood out to
users was that Jennifer Aniston had liked the said post. Eventually facing
criticism along with the singer, she chose to share her thoughts on it all
through her Instagram story

Beginning with a rather contradictory statement, she says she did not like
Foxx’s post accidentally or on purpose. Addressing the main issue, she
reiterates that she does not support any type of anti-semitism or tolerate hate.
Clearly distressed, the Friends star ends the message with a resounding “Period”
to emphasize her stance on the matter.

Fans are now wondering why Jamie Foxx would post something so controversial in
nature. And to answer their questions, Foxx has taken to his own Instagram story
to do so.

JAMIE FOXX CLARIFIES WHAT THE POST WAS ABOUT

Although the Day Shift actor took down the post soon after posting, the damage
was already done. Users who had set eyes on the post continued to barrage him
with questions about its contents. In an attempt to clear up the
misunderstanding, Foxx posts a message to his story
[https://www.instagram.com/stories/iamjamiefoxx/3162760050404775726/?hl=en]
saying that the post isn’t about the Jewish community in the first place.

> post on instagram, which had nothing to do with the Jewish community.

The 55-year-old apologizes while explaining that he was feeling betrayed by a
“fake friend” who he was referring to in the post. Everybody knows that the
internet can blow a misunderstanding out of proportion in a matter of seconds.
It seems like Jennifer Aniston was just collateral damage to somebody else’s
misunderstood words.
