Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals the One Promise That Doesn’t Allow Her to Divorce Will Smith, Despite a 7-Year Separation

former recently gave that revealed the heart-breaking truth about their
marriage. Despite what they were projecting earlier, the couple had apparently
separated seven whole years ago. Of course, their fans would demand an
explanation as to why they did not just get a divorce. Also, why would they
still refuse to do so?

Now, the Red Table Talk host has finally unveiled the reason behind their
bizarre decision.


WHY DID JADA PINKETT SMITH AND WILL SMITH NOT GET LEGALLY DIVORCED?

While speaking to TODAY’s Hoda Kotb, Jada spoke on a range of reasons as to why
their relationship ended and why they chose to keep it all a secret. Amidst the
conversation, she spoke about how she made a promise to her husband that no
“reason” would justify them parting ways. Regardless of the growing distance
between them, she wanted to keep working on their relationship. Ultimately, the
actress confessed to being “unable” to break that one promise.
