The candid response left little doubt about her admiration for the beloved survival horror series, while also hinting that her passion for gaming extends well beyond simply playing the titles she enjoys, as she shared during her interview with Variety.

"Yes. Um, and I'm starting my journey with that soon because I want to try something smaller to kind of test the waters and then later different because video games are obviously a big interest of mine," Navarrette said during the same interview with Variety,

Her comments reflect a measured approach to a medium she's loved for years. While she's eager to begin voice acting, Navarrette made it clear that Resident Evil remains the ultimate goal. Even after learning that a new Resident Evil film was on the way, she enthusiastically replied, "I will buy a ticket. That's exciting," further highlighting just how invested she already is in the franchise she hopes to one day join.

The timing also makes her ambitions particularly intriguing.
