The relationship that the Sussex family shares with podcasts seems to be unharmonious, to say the least. With Meghan Markle‘s Archetypes currently under fire for their own set of allegations, the California royals now have a bigger storm swirling around the family of four. Giving a break to the Spotify ruckus, here is another podcast that did them wrong and paid for it. More than the couple, the controversy surrounds their firstborn, Prince Archie.

With demand for podcasts on the rise and the common man’s easy access to such global platforms, these chat shows have now become the tenets of a democratic society. Nonetheless, words have meanings, and actions have consequences.

Black Wolf Radio and its hosts, Christopher Gibbons, and Tyrone Patten-Walsh, learned this the hard way. The duo got a conviction for committing a terror offense, as per Sky News reports. Besides their chat show, an investigation by Met’s Counter Terrorism Command led to the extradition of a neo-nazi library containing 500 videos of extremist propaganda.

Upon further analysis by a team of special officers, the material was ruled out to have breached terrorism legislation. They also have charges of endorsing crimes as treacherous as murder and shooting.

Thus, following a trial at the Kingston Crown, the court found the two guilty of encouraging acts of terrorism on Friday. Gibbons and Tyrone are currently under Metropolitan Police custody as they face jail upon conviction.

The two not only provoked the command man but also had some royal targets in their podcast.

The podcast criticized Prince Archie and Prince Harry

The controversial podcast targeted people of ethnic minorities with hate speech against the community. The duo also commented on Prince Archie, who belongs to mixed race for his parents’ ethnicity, with Gibbons describing the four-year-old as an “abomination that should be put down.” Gibbons, in fact, targeted Prince Harry and called for prosecution to be “judicially killed for treason.

Termed as a “white supremacist Neo Nazi” by Sky News, the podcast sheltered hatred of mixed-race marriages. Reports also have it that the 21 episodes aired from the platform also had extreme right-wing speeches, homophobic, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, and misogynistic connotations attached. The underlying theme of the podcast was to encourage people to commit extreme acts of violence in plain sight. The podcast had subscribers of about 1000 with their materials gaining much higher, ranging up to 1,50,000 in number.
