Secret agents are trained for covert missions, high stakes and elaborate disguises, but apparently nobody prepares them for Lamaze class. Kevin Hart and Henry Cavill star as rival spies whose wives become fast friends, forcing the two men to collide outside their secret lives. As fatherhood approaches, the unlikely enemies must become reluctant partners and confidantes.

And finally, fans are getting their first glimpse of the hilarious spy duo, and the mismatched partnership already looks gloriously chaotic.

Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart are already making an ordinary neighborhood scene look suspiciously entertaining, with the two stars spotted filming together outside a private home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. In the first look of Spy Duo, Cavill was seen operating a classic red Triumph motorcycle, while Hart joined the scene in a far more relaxed fashion, creating quite the curious spy sight.

The contrast only gets better when their wardrobes enter the picture. Henry Cavill looked every bit the polished action hero in an all-black ensemble and suede jacket, while Kevin Hart wore a Joy Division T-shirt with plaid pajama pants. Nearby, a lime-green vintage Porsche Carrera RS with New York plates added another suitably eccentric touch.

This first look at Netflix’s Spy Duo certainly does not look short on personality, especially with Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart occupying such opposite ends of the style spectrum. The production began filming August 31 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, and the set photos already suggest that this unlikely spy partnership, drawn from two opposite ends of Hollywood, will bring plenty of comic friction.

Cavill and Hart may be bringing the chaotic duo energy to Spy Duo, much like Jake Gyllenhaal is channeling his character’s grief in the first look at Remain, but the rest of the cast has plenty of mischief to bring.

The other talented faces bringing Spy Duo to life

If Kevin Hart brings the comic timing and Henry Cavill brings the spy swagger, the supporting cast is hardly sitting around waiting for their cue. Justine Lupe arrives with Succession and Nobody Wants This on her résumé, while Aja Naomi King brings dramatic heft from How to Get Away with Murder and Lessons in Chemistry.

Then there is Jason Isaacs, whose dossier has enough sinister credentials to make any secret mission nervous. Best known as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, Jason Isaacs also joins the upcoming The White Lotus season, giving the ensemble another wonderfully recognizable face. As per the plot, two actresses will play the wives whose friendship at a Lamaze class sets the spy husbands on their collision course.
