Prince Harry and Meghan no longer receive money from the Royal Family and have series of commercial arrangements with a number of companies.

Following Complete Independence From The Crown, How Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Fund Their $60,000,000 Net-Worth?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/meghan-markle] stepped down as the senior working
member of the royal family in the year 2020. The decision of transitioning into
a new working model specially marked their independence from the British Crown
in terms of finances and funding. In brief, it thus meant that the Sussexes will
no longer receive funding from the Sovereign Grant like the other members of the
House of Windsors.

Taking great pride in their charitable endeavors and philanthropic activities,
the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex decided to take their finances into their own
hands. Although they still stay committed to carrying forward The Crown’s legacy
in the Kingdom and the Commonwealth, they are now at liberty to earn
professional income by working externally. And the decision thus far has not
proven disappointing for the couple.

According to Celebrity Net Worth via Investopedia
[https://www.investopedia.com/prince-harry-meghan-markle-net-worth-7489521#:~:text=Prince%20Harry%20and%20Meghan%20Markle%20have%20an%20estimated%20net%20worth,according%20to%20Celebrity%20Net%20Worth.],
the two have a combined net worth of 60 million US Dollars. But how exactly did
they make their millions?

WHOPPING BOOK DEALS AND MEMOIRS OF PRINCE HARRY

Prince Harry’s groundbreaking tell-all memoir, Spare, contributed to a major
chunk of their income in the present year. Soon after it hit the shelves, Spare
sold over 3.2 million copies worldwide. Nonetheless, it does not end here. The
book is only a part of a $20 million multi-book deal as reported by The Times.

Hold your horses since the Duke is not the only author in the house. A couple of
years ago, Markle laid the groundwork by releasing a children’s book called The
Bench in 2021. Just the advance payment of the book summed up to $618,000
according to sources.

LUCRATIVE BUSINESS WITH MEDIA HOUSES OF MEGHAN MARKLE

These serve as some of the most controversial sources of income for the
Sussexes, in the eyes of the media. The Duchess alone signed a multi-million
partnership with Spotify in December 2020. The award-winning Archetypes alone,
estimated to be a lump sum of $25 million, deals with Archewell Audio.

Much before, the pair, together, signed a whopping $100 million contract with
Netflix. The multi-million partnership produced the Bombshell Netflix
chartbuster, Harry & Meghan, which sent shockwaves around the world about the
royal family.

THE SPLENDID MONTECITO ABODE OF THE PAIR

According to trusted sources, the Santa Barbara estate home to Prince and Meghan
Markle stands at $14.65 million. They bought the gem of this mansion in the
early 2020s when rumors of their renunciation were already in the air. The
California-based real estate is a splendid grandeur of a Mediterranean and
Spanish Revival-style home. Months ago, the mansion hit a whopping $33.5 million

for buyers in the market.
