Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe feel revived as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman join forces to save the world. Hollywood's all-time favorite tongue-in-cheek duo did not leave any stone unturned to serve their audience. The official teaser trailer of the upcoming movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, dropped a week ago, with eagle-eyed viewers going bonkers over the Easter eggs and details. However, with fans, there is always something that could have been added or removed to make it all the more perfect. 

Six days post the trailer release, the hype around the two-and-a-half-minute-long glimpse into the movie harbors the same enthusiasm. But it comes with a twist and fans are all for it. An X fan account took his handle a few hours ago to drop a banger edit, knowing exactly how badly the audience wants it. Taran Singh, a VFX supervisor and generalist, remade the trailer with a specific fan edit and vested all the spotlight on Logan's cowl. 

Unlike the official trailer that dropped on April 22nd, and divided fans over Wolverine's iconic yellow suit, this fan edit did heal some wounds. While the original trailer missed it, the fan gave his best to incorporate the never-seen-before cowl, into Jackman’s character. With the idea of Logan's cowl circulating fan's imagination for a while with hints here and there, seeing the edit was nothing but just refreshing.

Even in a leaked costume video that reached fans earlier this year, a caption with the cowl read, “Wait until his sleeves are ripped off,” added more to the anticipation around Wolverine's cowl. The glimpse clearly indicated the appearance of the cowl along with Logan's sleeves getting ripped off, producing the perfect, comic-accurate Wolverine edition fans have ever got. While the trailer did see him sleeveless in one of the sequences, how accurate the rip-off will be is yet to be seen.

With the release date coming closer and fan theories all over the place, this new cowl-centric edit has helped fans reimagine how their favorite Wolverine would look like, adding more to the frenzy. 

With Singh’s edit gaining much momentum online, fans have poured in their reactions to the now-gone-viral edit. Moreover, with the editing fixing the most sought-after addition to the character, fans have suggested some more changes to make Logan look straight out of the books. One suggested to “make him shorter,” while others rallied behind the fan to join the MCU, because of his graphic editing skills. 

Although some were all praises, others still managed to find a few faults.

Some fans took to the comment section pointing out minute details to make it all the more appropriate. While one suggested how the comic character has the cowl black, unlike the fan-made blue edit, others pointed out how his lenses do not move with the actor's expression. Nonetheless, the vast majority took immense delight in making the edit go viral overnight.
