The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have forever been the leading pioneers of charity work and social activities. Even before coming together as one, Prince Harry followed in the footsteps of her mother, the People’s Princess, Lady Diana, to lend a helping hand to those in need. The Duke has invested his relentless efforts to make this world a better place to live in for the underprivileged. And to have accomplished the same was a joint effort by everyone. They might have had no support from the royal family. But their vigorous fans A.K. the Sussex Squad have always had their back all the time.

One of the most prominent charities ever made by the Duke of Sussex is the Sentebale, which has been much in news quite recently. And this time it’s not for the Duke or the Duchess, it is the army of social media fans and followers who have made the big news. Following the paths of the pioneers, their all-time supporters gained a lot of spotlights on social media for their contribution to the Sentebale Report 2022.
A huge thank you to our amazing US friends who gave to the @SussexEvent campaign. You raised nearly $60k so we can help vulnerable children in Lesotho and Botswana access vital health services, receive care and support, and build skills to be more resilient and self-sufficient.

The group describes themselves as online “superfans” who have worked together progressively to raise funds for charity in Honor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The charity, founded by the Duke and his longtime friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, also admitted that they have received funds of around $60K from the Sussex Squad as mentioned in the reports.
The Sussex Squad going strong still
A spokesperson for the organization spoke to Telegraph, that “Sentebale received donations through an online fundraising platform under the banner of ‘Sussex Squad’ in 2022, which highlighted Sentebale’s work in Lesotho and Botswana”. Nevertheless, this is not the first time the Sussex Squad has come to the center stage while supporting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. There have been many instances in the past where the Sussex Squad has been at the center of controversies in defending the Duke in cases of online abuse and trolling.

Giving us a break from the Coronation hype, social media platforms are now all about the onslaught of this Sussex Squad group which does not hesitate to support the Duke in the worst of all situations. Prince Harry’s delayed and now rushed visit to the United Kingdom has made the King regulate some pre-existing plans.
What is your take on the matter?
