At the star-studded event, the director has it that both the nerve-sizzling series quite literally take place in the same universe. It thus clearly indicates that you very well expect characters from the previous hit to appear in the forthcoming sensation. In fact, Alexa Demie&#8217;s Maddy Perez will reportedly have a cameo in The Idol. However, nothing more substantiating the same has been reported by the official authorities. Nonetheless, the crossover that many of us had already seen coming is finally happening.

The lead stars of the sordid male fantasy, Abel Tesfaye, popularly called The Weeknd, and Lily-Rose Depp, displayed the price of fame at the Cannes. The team pulled off a five-minute-long ovation at the event. Nonetheless, it has garnered quite stirring reactions from fans and media houses online. What was supposed to be a bar-breaking level of a sensual plotline has quickly escalated to become a scandal of its own owing to the unimaginable level of its sexual content.
