Anna Faris talks working with Robert Pattinson

Anna Faris has revealed some interesting information about her brief collaboration with Robert Pattinson on the upcoming movie Primetime, calling it amazing and surprisingly memorable. In an interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast on June 4, Faris disclosed that she has a brief role in the Lance Oppenheim-directed biographical crime movie that is scheduled for release later this year. In the film, Pattinson plays Chris Hansen.

“It was awesome. It was really cool! I just have one scene as Robert’s odd strange wife. It was incredible!” said the actress, expressing her joy.

Additionally, Faris described the incident vividly, emphasizing the peculiar tone of the scene by pointing out that she was stretched out in bed and that Pattinson was gripping her foot and pulling it down across his face. Faris claimed she had a good time working with the cast and crew despite the short appearance.

The A24 movie, Primetime, follows the real-life journalist Chris Hansen (Robert Pattinson) who hosted To Catch a Predator from 2004 to 2007. The story will explore the beginnings of the Dateline NBC show, in which Hansen confronted guys at a sting house because he thought they were there to have s** with minors.

Coming back to Anna Faris, the actress also talked about her lengthy career and her return to the franchise that shaped her early fame.

Anna Faris gets candid about her career

During the podcast, Anna Faris noted that her popularity frequently felt detached from her own sense of humor as she considered the bewildering shift from a recent English graduate in Seattle to a comedy icon. She called the experience of being cast in Scary Movie a boot camp that presented a difficult set of professional hurdles in addition to a wealth of opportunities.

Faris acknowledged that she battled an internal feeling of being a "poser" for a large portion of her career, frequently wondering if she was truly funny or just fooling people into laughing. The industry's propensity to categorize her exacerbated this unease. But things now seem to have worked out in favor of her, and she is back to one of the most valuable franchises of her career, along with a brief stint with Robert Pattinson in Primetime.
