Amidst an Injury, Paul Mullin Reveals All the ‘Gracious’ Things Owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney Have Done For Him

The remarkable takeover of Wrexham AFC at the hands of Ryan Reynolds
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/] and Rob McElhenney is a
testament to their dedication to revitalizing the historic club. The duo’s
efforts are seen not only in their love for the club but also in the genuine
regard they have for their players. A refreshing blend of ambition and humility,
the Free Guy actor and McElhenney injected new life into the team and its
supporters. Especially one player who had to battle for his life after a match.

During the team’s America tour, Paul Mullin was severely injured after suffering
a punctured lung. Now the player reveals all the heart-touching and hilarious
things the duo did for him while he recovered.

INJURED PAUL MULLIN SPOILED BY RYAN REYNOLDS AND ROB MCELHENNEY

Paul Mullin opened up about his post-injury time in the States, as he wrote in
The Athletic
[https://theathletic.com/4774665/2023/08/15/paul-mullin-lungs-wrexham/] about
his experience. Besides scoring an apartment for him in Long Beach, he wrote
that the club’s owners “even sent a PlayStation” for him. While this helped him
pass time, he revealed that McElhenney even offered to host him in “his Los
Angeles home.“

Besides all that, Reynolds, who was fairly troubled by his star player’s injury
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/hollywood-news-ryan-reynolds-worried-as-another-ace-wrexham-player-gets-injured-after-jordan-tunnicliffe/],
offered to fly his “entire family out” to curb Mullin’s loneliness. He also
revealed that the “phenomenal owners” visited him often, doing all in their
power to uplift his spirits. It is safe to say that the generous duo from
Hollywood left no stone unturned in helping Mullin’s recovery.

But the most amusing of all was when Reynolds divulged another thing he had to
do for Mullins. According to the $350 million worth actor, he even had to rub
Mullin’s feet!

WHEN RYAN REYNOLDS REVEALED HE RUBBED MULLIN’S “GOLDEN FOOT”

While speaking to Sky Sports, the Deadpool actor tells a comedic tale about
Mullin’s injury in typical Reynolds fashion. He claimed that the 28-year-old
instructed him to rub “his golden foot.” He complied with Mullin’s wishes and
said that “it was a privilege” for him. Although he said all this with a fishy
smirk, fans of the 46-year-old know that his generosity knows no bounds.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Wrexham striker is recovering at a good rate. And he
hopes to rejoin his team and go back to creating history alongside them.
