The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated probably the biggest Sussex event of the year. Building a Home for Respect, as was this year’s motto, the California royals carried on Prince Harry’s legacy with great pomp and show. Moreover, committing themselves to the service of humankind, the royals made no mistake in presenting themselves before the world. Especially the Duchess, who donned a top-notch outfit to the tournament each day and taught people how to keep it minimal yet elegant for late summer sports.

The Duchess kept it subtle with her neutrals and left all star-struck with a stunning turquoise strapless in the finale. From the day she joined her beloved, on the Invictus tour to the farewell, here is a recap of all the best outfits Markle flaunted this year.

The site crashing whites

Just a day after the Friend’s house party on her first day of arrival, the Duchess stepped out in a literal crashing outfit for the games. Her combination for the first day was shorts, a J-Crew jacket accessorized with Chanel shoes. The outfit created such a stir that eager fans went bonkers enough to crash the J Crew site after mass demand.

An ode to blues

The Duchess looked chic the other time in a navy blue Carolina Herrera dress complemented by Dior shoes. Adding to her all-time favorite color charm were the Pippa small earrings that appeared prominent with the Duchess. This outfit, however, was reminiscent of what Markle wore during the previous Invictus Games, paying a nod to her husband.

Typical American royalty

Meghan Markle can make no mistake with the whites and thus slayed another plain yet chic look at her tour. Wearing a Zara jumpsuit along with Saint Laurent footwear, Markle showed how to choose a perfect summer sports glam with a tinge of royal elegance. This too did not last long on shopping platforms, as it was labeled “sold out” moments after the Duchess wore it at the parade walk.

The color of love

An outfit that must have almost been drenched with immense love was Markle’s Polo Ralph Lauren knitwear. She accessorized the same with Frame jeans and her go-to Aquazzura pumps for the event. It was the same outfit Markle wore to sit among her Nigerian fans who showered all their love to the Duchess like there’s no tomorrow.

Hugging and hurdling the 42-year-old fans swarmed up the California Royal while Prince Harry pulled her back, saying, “She’s mine“.
