A developing story emerges from Buckingham Palace regarding an illness haunting King Charles after the saddening news about Prince Kate.

After Kate Middleton, King Charles to Also Undergo Medical Treatment

A shocking announcement by the crown has just revealed that King Charles is
suffering from an enlarged prostate. The official notice issued by the Royal
House of Windsor explained that the presiding monarch’s “condition is benign.”
To rectify the condition, he will be undergoing a “corrective procedure” in the
following week. According to the notice, the royal family patriarch will
subsequently take some time to recover during which his “engagements will be
postponed.”

It also highlighted that the condition is not a rare one, considering that
“thousands of men” are battling it at any given time. The worrying update has
come in toe of a recent discovery that Princess Kate Middleton is also currently
admitted to a hospital following an abdominal surgery.

As worrying as the king’s condition is, the future queen’s seems to be far more
worrisome.

PRINCESS KATE’S CONDITION IS BELIEVED TO BE MORE SERIOUS THAN KING CHARLES’

In the case of King Charles’ illness, statistics suggest that approximately 80%
of men over the age of 70 are afflicted with an enlarged prostate. As a
75-year-old, the monarch and his well-wishers need not worry since the treatment
for it is fairly common and straightforward. However, Princess Kate’s surgery’s
mysterious cause is concerning.

The circumstances under which the 42-year-old royal had to be operated on have
been kept under wraps by Kensington Palace. Moreover, she is supposed to be
retained at the hospital for two weeks with months of future engagements
postponed, hinting that her recovery will take a long time. One can only hope
that the Princess of Wales is not inflicted with anything serious.

After all, the last season of The Crown
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-crown/] endeared many to the future queen and
had just brought her life into the limelight.

THE KATE MIDDLETON-FOCUSED FINAL SEASON OF THE CROWN

The majority of the world is familiar with the more rebellious royals of
England, Prince Harry [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/prince-harry/] and
Meghan Markle [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/meghan-markle]. So, Netflix chose
to shift the spotlight onto their older counterparts, the Prince and Princess of
Wales, for once. While it is lauded as a fictional creation, many equate its
events to the real-life stories of these royals.

In the second half of its final season, the series delved into the early life of
Kate Middleton and some stirring tales of how she and Prince William ended up
together
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-top-three-kate-middleton-and-prince-william-moments-that-dominated-the-final-showdown-of-the-crown/].
The enchanting show reminded everybody of the flawed humanity of its ‘fictional’
characters. It also helped viewers see the burden-heavy royals as mere
commoners.
