When does A Simple Favor 2 release?

Back in the year 2022, the director of the first movie, Paul Fiege provided the initial inputs on the movie's revival, saying that plans have been in motion, however nothing could be made sure. Mother to a newborn, back then, the filming of the dark comic thriller, was further pushed back, keeping in mind Blake Lively’s health.

The movie is currently aimed for an OTT release. Following the first movie’s significant success, filmmakers hold hopes high for its sequel. According to the latest reports by Variety, Amazon MGM Studios and Lionsgate have announced that their highly anticipated film will be skipping the big screen altogether and heading straight to streaming giant Prime Video.

The filmmakers have been all tight-lipped about the movie's plot and build-up, however, their statements about the upcoming Blake Lively starrer have further amped up the anticipation of the sequel. This would be director Fiege’s first-ever sequel movie to any of his existing works. Adding further he said, the continuation of the story would have an “international flair” to it and whatever it is that they are planning, it is going to be great fun.
