The action flick had a base hit formula of two guys running away from bad guys in hilarious, chaotic but effective ways. It revolves around CIA executive Michael Bryce who is tasked with protecting hitman Darius Kincaid, who is a target of a don. With enemies over both of their shoulders, they move on to an adventure. The sequel had the addition of Salma Hayek to the action, with a similar plot and results.
Regarding part 3, the rumors have been around for a while. But none of the actors or makers have given confirmation or green-lit it. If a movie is confirmed, it will be seen whether Jackson hops on the bus.
