King Charles’ coronation is just a week away and the preparations for the same are undoubtedly in full bloom. Everything ranging from coronation coaches to attires along with the crown is here, with all the other necessary items required. However, despite the celebrations, the controversies grasping the royal family at the moment have proved to be a hindrance in the King’s way. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is fighting the British media on all legal fronts and undoubtedly so, Prince William and King Charles have also been dragged into it. 

However, there was a time when everyone was all smiles and laughter in the royal household, with these disturbances hardly existing in the first place. Prince Harry and William undoubtedly had a troubled and neglected childhood. Nonetheless, that was all after their late mother, Princess Diana, took her leave from the world. Because, as long as the former Princess of Wales kept the royal Princes under his wing, life seemed quite pretty and normal for the Duke.

Even the balcony row, which has Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in its centerpiece, once used to be ruled by the Duke. Back in 1987, a two-year-old Prince Harry warmed hearts when he made his first-ever appearance on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. It was during Trooping the Color celebrations. The heartfelt moment, now a TikTok video, has gone viral with more than two million views since it was posted last week.

Toddler Prince Harry could be seen with his elder brother, a juvenile Prince William. As adorable as they were, Prince Harry’s mischievous smiles and expressions won a lot of hearts at the ceremony. Fast forward to 2023, when the same Prince’s presence at his father’s coronation has become a matter of huge controversy.

The Duke will be seated 10 seats back 

Reports had it that the Duke will supposedly be seated 10 seats back from where the royal members of the household should ideally be. The core members, primarily of the Wales family, will be on the front foot as expected. Meanwhile, Prince Harry has been deprived of his appearance with the family at the famous Buckingham Palace balcony after the coronation service would get over. 

The King has been very specific about who he wants to represent in the UK Monarchy. The Duke seemingly does not stand a chance to accompany his family on the balcony. In fact, reports say, that he would soon be rushing to the United States once done with the main event. He has to attend his son’s fourth birthday back in their California abode.
