After the Netflix Event News, ‘One Piece’ Fans Have Another Thing to Celebrate

If setting sail into the wacky world of One Piece manga is what ‘floats your
boat’, then you are among the millions of people around the world who feel the
same. With its pirates hunting for treasure and quirky characters with weird
eccentricities, the manga is one of the biggest of its kind. Eiichiro Oda’s
masterpiece takes readers on a journey that has more twists than a mystery
novel. While some fans enjoy cheering on the comic’s villains with grandiose
ambitions and others root for the oh-so-optimistic Monkey D. Luffy.

But one thing all fans have in common is their love for the iconic comic. And
for those fans, particular news from the New York Times will surely make their
day.

THIS ONE PIECE EDITION JUST MARKED A MILESTONE

Since its arrival almost two decades ago, One Piece has captivated manga readers
and lovers of its anime alike. The comic’s fanbase has only increased a
staggering amount since then. This is probably how Vol. 103 of One Piece has
landed at number four on the New York Times Bestsellers List. This feat is a
testament to the manga’s internationally growing popularity.

is probably patting himself on the back right now. This volume that depicts the
epic battles between Luffy and Kaido of the Beasts has made history for its
creator. No wonder the anime adaptation of the manga has been the talk of the
town for months.
