John Lennon was an English singer, songwriter, musician, and peace activist. While working together with Lennon, McCartney would sit down with him for hours. They would ping-pong the ideas till they created a song. In an interview, McCartney opened up about his experience of working with Ye. He compared his time with John Lennon to Kanye West. He said, “Working with West was like that.” 

While remembering his ex-Beatle member, Sir Paul McCartney revealed an experience when he and Ye created one of their famous song named ‘Only One’. The Beatles’ Let It Be inspired this collaborative song, as he revealed. He remembered they had sat together and had to talk a lot just to break the ice between them. McCartney told the story of how he wrote the song, ‘Let It Be’ to Ye. He even shared his mother came to his dreams and inspired that song to McCartney. This experience of this legendary songwriter inspired Ye, and he also said he would write a song with his mother. And he did. That is how they created ‘Only One’.
