As we get closer and closer to Stranger Things season 4 release date, we get more and more impatient for it. We occasionally see actors talk about the new season, and they usually give positive remarks. Maya Hawke is not an exception to this. In an interview she was on with <a href="https://collider.com/maya-hawke-interview-stranger-things-season-4-mainstream/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Collider</a>, she talked about the new season of Stranger Things and her other projects. <h4>Maya Hawke says the wait for Stranger Things season 4 will be worth it</h4>
In this interview, a journalist asked her when the new season was going to finish filming. And &#8220;It feels like Stranger Things season 4 has been filming for 17 years. When do you actually finish filming the series?&#8221; she said.
Maya Hawke said they were not allowed to talk about it. However, she had some pretty good comments on the new season.
&#8220;It feels that way to me, too. I&#8217;m not allowed to tell you when we finish filming, but I can tell you that like, though it&#8217;s been forever, because we&#8217;ve had so much time, the level of effort, interest, and the detail that Duffer Brothers have had time to put into these scripts, and that the actors have had the time to think about their characters, and like it&#8217;s going to be awesome.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m so proud of the work that everyone is doing. And I can&#8217;t wait for people to see the season. It&#8217;s been a long way but I think it will be worth it.&#8221;

It seems we still have a long way to go before the release of Stranger Things season 4. They are probably going to <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/two-more-teasers-left-before-stranger-things-season-4/">share two new teasers</a> before the release of the season or the official trailer. We do not expect it to take little time.
Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, earlier <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/gaten-matarazzo-stranger-things-season-4-interview/">said</a> that there were really few dates to rely on. That means even the crew did not know when they were going to finish filming. However, Maya Hawke&#8217;s quotes imply that they have made good progress since Gaten Matarazzo&#8216;s remarks.
