Stranger Things season 4 is unfortunately not going to be on the popular streaming platform Netflix in July 2021.
Stranger Things is a huge Netflix original series that virtually everyone knows about at this point. Debuting back in 2016, it’s been a huge hit for the popular streaming platform. The story of the series is about a group of average teenagers who are surrounded by supernatural events.
There are currently three seasons of Stranger Things on Netflix. The crew released those three seasons respectively in 2016, 2017, and 2019. However, we still do not have the fourth season on the platform. The fans are waiting impatiently for the next season of Stranger Things, which is in its production process right now. Unfortunately, the next season will not be on Netflix in the following month. But when can we expect it to finally finish filming and come to Netflix?

The next season is coming slowly but surely. We know it’s still in the production process, and filming is planned to wrap up in August according to David Harbour. After they finish filming, the post-production process is going to start. As it’s Stranger Things we’re talking about, we can expect a long editing process. In the end, we’re probably going to see Stranger Things season 4 released in 2022. The star Finn Wolfhard also confirmed this earlier in a fan meeting, saying that the next season should “hopefully” debut in the next year. If you need a narrower release window, you can keep our eyes at early-mid 2022, as they probably wouldn’t mess around more than that.

As far as the actors are concerned, the writers had a good amount of time to work on the scripts of the new season. As a result of that, we have amazing writing work in terms of details. We heard remarks like this from three different actors, namely, Maya Hawke, Gaten Matarazzo, and David Harbour.
“… though it’s been forever, because we’ve had so much time, the level of effort, interest, and the detail that Duffer Brothers have had time to put into these scripts, and that the actors have had the time to think about their characters, and like it’s going to be awesome,” said Maya Hawke, who thinks that the long wait will be worth it in the end.
“This year, because of COVID, there’s no excuse for them not to have the (season) written completely,” said Gaten Matarazzo.

“And this, again, we top it. Like I feel it’s a big, beautiful season. I can’t wait for people to see it,” remarked David Harbour, whose character is apparently going to have a Gandalf-like resurrection.
