Sex/Life Season 2 Release Date, Synopsis, Trailer and More

What is the release date for Sex/Life season 2? When will the new episodes of
comedy-drama land on the platform?

Netflix has released lots of new original titles throughout June 2021. The
streaming giant continues to expand its huge library full of different series
and movies. Almost anyone can find something they like. This diversity also
includes great comedy-drama series that are full of dilemmas, intrigue and
relationship problems.

One of the most recent TV series that offers all those drama-filled narratives
is Sex/Life that landed on the platform on June 25. The Netflix Original series
follows a married woman with children and her difficult decisions between her
past and present. Starring Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, Adam Demos and many others,
Sex/Life is based on B. B. Easton‘s bestselling book 44 Chapters About 4 Men.

Here’s the official Sex/Life synopsis described by Netflix:

“A woman’s daring sexual past colliders with her married-with-kids present when
the bad-boy ex she can’t stop fantasizing about crashes back into her life.”

Here’s what you need to know about the series. Now let’s dive in and have a look
at all the details about the Sex/Life season 2 release date.

SEX/LIFE SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE

The production of the first season started back in 2020. Although
pandemic-related restrictions caused delays, the cast and the crew managed to
wrap the first episodes of the season.

Now that the pandemic has started to lose its effects on filming, the production
of the second season will probably take a shorter amount of time. That is of
course, provided that Netflix decides to continue with the series. Most of the
time shows like Sex/Life manages to get a new season as we love shows like this
which maximize drama and intrigue.

As of June 2021, Netflix has not made any official comments regarding the
Sex/Life season 2 release date. Considering that the show has just landed on our
favourite streaming service, we might have to wait for a while to hear about the
show’s status.

With that said, if Netflix renews the series the production might start in early
2022. And the earlier date for the second season to premiere is probably the
last quarter of 2022.

WHO IS IN THE SEX/LIFE SEASON 2 CAST?

The first season of the series included talented actors like Mike Vogel who also
starred in Secret Obsession and She’s Out of My League. We remember the leading
actress Sarah Shahi from Bullet to the Head and Hangman. And Adam Demos starred
on Cooped Up and Falling Inn Love.

These three main characters will probably return in the next season if Netflix
renews the series. We have listed the main Sex/Life cast:

 * Sarah Shahi as Billie Connelly
 * Mike Vogel as Cooper Connelly
 * Adam Demos as Brad Simon
 * Margaret Odette as Sasha Snow
 * Phoenix Reich as Hudson
 * Jonathan Sadowski as Devon
 * Li Jun Li as Francesca
 * Megan Heffern as Caroline
 * Amanda Nestico as Cooper
 * Lauren Collins as Ms Brenda

SEX/LIFE SEASON 2 TRAILER

The series is now available to stream on the platform with eight episodes. So
before seeing a teaser or a trailer video of the next season, we will have to
wait for Netflix to renew the show. If the platform orders another installment
for Sex/Life, the earlier possible date for a trailer might be mid-2022.
