Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left the audiences in a conundrum as they continue to go back and forth between claiming that they are not working royals but ultimately acting like one. However, while the audiences are more enthusiastic towards the prospect of the Sussexes leading a royal life away from the royals, the latter is not.

Much like the Invictus Games last year, their trip to Nigeria, surrounded by a tremendous amount of brouhaha, has irked the royal family, especially Prince William.

Nigeria recently welcomed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to a three-day grand trip. From the gifts they received to the dresses they wore and the wholesome moments they shared, the trip has become iconic, to say the least, more so because the couple got the royal treatment despite having dropped that tag years ago. This, as per a royal author's statements to the Mirror, has made Prince William "furious."

According to the royal expert, Tom Quinn, the Sussexes' three-day Nigeria trip, despite not having anything to do with the royal family, has caught their attention left, right and center. Moreover, it is not just Prince Harry's brother turned arch-nemesis who holds distaste for their trip, but also King Charles.

Ever since they packed their bags and moved to the United States, the Sussexes have been treated as spares, a part of the royal family that lost its shine once it left the headquarters. The fans of the former working royals saw both the documentary and the Invictus Games as a way to prove otherwise. However, nothing could have brought them the glory that their trip to Nigeria did.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle proved that with or without the royal family, they remain people's favorite, almost a parallel to the Prince's late mother, Princess Diana. Given that the couple plans to further expand their brand, such trips will definitely aid their motives, not to mention make the Invictus Games an all-year-round hit.
